Title Page & Instructions
Introduction
Welcome to your ePortfolio! The following is an instructional guide to building your ePortfolio and its various sections!
Your ePortfolio is a comprehensive tool to assess your learning throughout the Bachelor of Science program.
Beginning with AHCJ 493 Senior Portfolio I, you will be assigned various ePortfolio elements to complete/collect during your coursework in the program.
Canvas
Your ePorfolio will be built using the Canvas Learning Management System (LMS) platform. As a student, you already have access to your ePortfolio.

Start by clicking on your profile image in the top left corner of Canvas, then click on "ePortfolios":

2. Click on "+Create an ePortfolio"

3. Name your portfolio "Last, First name (program acronym) ePorfolio" (for program acronym, see below).
-

-
Note: This includes Special Imaging (CT/MR/CI/VI), Science, Administration, Education, and Imaging Informatics.

-
Radiation Therapy, BS = BSRTT

4. Then select "Make ePortfolio"
Note: do NOT select "Make it Public"

You are now ready to get started. Creating pages, adding content, etc. can be somewhat tricky. Therefore, we recommend you visit the Canvas Help page on building an ePortfolio. There are great "how to's" and tips for creating all of your ePortfolio elements.

As always, do not hesitate to email your portfolio instructor with questions.

Building your ePortfolio

Your ePortfolio should be a representation of your hard work and creative skills. It's okay if you are not creative, but have fun with your ePortfolio and don't be afraid to try different ways of presenting your work! We recommend creating "test pages" to practice formatting and content creation, then pasting into your final pages.

Creating the various sections in your ePortfolio

1. Follow the Canvas guides to create the pages needed for your content.
Click here for a tutorial video on creating your ePortfolio in Canvas.
2. Your ePortfolio should have the following pages:
-
Title Page (see below)
Follow each link above to review detailed instructions for each page or section of your ePortfolio.

Please contact the portfolio instructor for questions.

3. Title Page

The first page or "landing" page of your ePortfolio will be your Title Page. This is a point of creativity for you to show off your learning.

Your Title Page should include the following elements (required):

-
Your Name (First and Last) as it appears in your academic records
-
Your student ID
-
The academic quarter you started the program (WHEN YOU TOOK SENIOR PORTFOLIO I)
-
The academic quarter you will complete the program. (WHEN YOU WILL TAKE SENIOR PORTFOLIO II)
-
Your area of emphasis if you are in the Radiation Sciences, BS program and your program name
-
An introduction about yourself or a professional statement (see the Signature Project page for samples)

Other than the required elements above, you are encouraged to add photos/media or a collage of media on the page.
Think of the cover page like a movie poster. It gives a hint of what's to come to entice people to participate but does not give away the plot or ending.
