Post Self-Assessment

Introduction


Continuing the work of Senior Portfolio I and your Pre-Self-Assessment section in the ePortfolio, you will complete each assessment a second time as indicated below. Upon the completion of these assessments, you will write a self-reflection paper (assigned in Senior Portfolio II) that discusses your progress in the program. 

 

Note: Students starting in the summer of 2015 or later will present their signature project. 

 

Instructions

 

 

The following is a list of assessments you have or will be taking and the course they are located in. You will post the Pre-assessments from Senior Portfolio I into your Pre-Assessment section in the ePortfolio. All other assessments will be posted in the Post-Assessment section in your ePortfolio.

Assessment Instructions


Entrance Essay:
In the BSRS application process, you where required to write an entrance essay (not the short essay questions). You will post a copy of this essay in your ePortfolio under the Pre-Assessment section. If you do not have a copy of the essay, email your program director for a copy. 

 

Strengths Finder
The Strengths Finder 2.0 assessment is a self-review assessment as it relates to your personal strengths and weaknesses. You will take this assessment as a part of your Senior Portfolio I course (pre) then again in Senior Portfolio II (post). You will post your pre-results (from SP1) in your Pre-Assessment section in the ePortfolio and your post results (from SP2) in the Post-Assessment section in the ePortfolio.

 

Career Anchors
The Career Anchors assessment is a self-review assessment as it relates to your professional interests. You will take this assessment as a part of your Senior Portfolio I course (pre) then again in Senior Portfolio II (post). You will post your pre-results (from SP1) in your Pre-Assessment section in the ePortfolio and your post results (from SP2) in the Post-Assessment section in the ePortfolio.

 

 

Life Styles Inventory:

In the Life Styles Inventory assessment, the individual self-assesses their thinking styles, personal effectiveness, and satisfaction at work and home.  You will take this assessment as part of your Moral Leadership course, and you will post the results in the Post-Assessment portion of the ePortfolio.

 

 

Meyers-Briggs Type Indicator:

The Meyers-Briggs Type Indicator identifies your primary personality type as it relates to how you see the world around you.  You will take this assessment as part of the EI and Leadership Skills course, and you will post the results in the Post-Assessment section of the ePortfolio.

 

 

EQ-i 2.0:

The EQ-i 2.0 assessment is based on the concept that there is more than one type of intelligence.  The EQ-i focuses on your emotional intelligence, which evaluates how you relate to yourself and how you relate to others.  You will take this assessment as part of the EI and Leadership Skills course, and you will post the results in the Post-Assessment section of the ePortfolio.
